Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

This is the book that started it all for me. I first read this book when I was a freshman in college and it changed how I thought about God and Christianity. Up til then, I considered faith in God as something only allowed in your heart and soul and not your mind. I didn't think it was possible to seek God with your mind, with logical understanding or deep thinking. The next year I read the book again and it felt like a totally different book. I found new ideas and thoughts that I previously didn't see.

C.S. Lewis is a deep, deep writer. Every word he employs isused for an exact purpose. He is not flippant. This book is impossible to skim, it must be read word for word then digested slowly.I would recommend this book to everyone I know. I even plan to read this book again.
